Celebrating Our Apprentices: A Recap of National Apprenticeship Week 2024 Event
On Wednesday, February 7th, LEVC hosted an inspiring celebration breakfast to honor our dedicated apprentices as part of National Apprenticeship Week 2024, themed 'Skills for Life'. The event served as a platform to recognise the remarkable efforts and achievements of our apprentices, ranging from newcomers embarking on their journey to those nearing the completion of their apprenticeships.
The breakfast gathering provided a moment for us to express gratitude to our apprentices for their commitment and dedication. It was also an opportunity to acknowledge the crucial role that line managers play in guiding and supporting our apprentices throughout their learning and development journeys.
Following the breakfast, we convened for a focus group session. This session offered a platform for our apprentices to share their experiences, discuss the positives, and candidly address any challenges they encountered during their apprenticeships. The feedback and suggestions provided during the focus group were invaluable, offering us a deeper understanding of various aspects of our Apprenticeship programs and addressing pertinent business challenges.
Our Head of People Experience, Jonathan Stanford, would like to extend his heartfelt thanks to all who attended the event, especially our apprentices, for their candid and insightful contributions. The apprentices' active participation and engagement reflect their dedication to personal and professional growth, and the commitment to driving positive change within our organisation.
As National Apprenticeship Week 2024 comes to an end, let us reaffirm our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where all individuals have the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this memorable event, and here's to the continued success of our apprenticeship programs at LEVC!
