About the role
⚡ Represent styling to lead styling engineering meetings and interface with engineering department for general layout.
⚡ Review and effectively comb through all phases of engineering TI inputs and follow up.
⚡ Organise engineering studies in the modelling phase to identify the causes of engineering constraints and help modelling to avoid engineering hard-point risks.
⚡ FC engineering feasibility issues are collected and fed back to the styling design to help the styling design to meet the requirements of the solution and validate it.
⚡ According to the market trend and competitive analysis, assist the styling design to improve the design quality in terms of size matching, shape and surface quality, material selection and other appearance factors.
⚡ Responsible for the final validation of moulding related mass production data, form a list of problems and promote the engineering department to follow up to ensure that the final product effect of the moulding output.
Experience to succeed
⚡ More than 8 years of project management experience related to automotive R&D and styling integration; 3 or more actual mass production product experience.
⚡ Understand the styling design appeal, and have a deep understanding of styling-related appearance quality.
⚡ Many years of automotive competitor benchmarking and design analysis experience, have insight into the automotive market.
⚡ Support styling to predict the risk of styling and appearance quality in advance.
⚡ Familiar with the styling development to the product mass production stage of the workflow and work priorities, with the general layout, product process, size matching standards and other related knowledge; with luxury car development experience is preferred.
⚡ The styling project related issues to illustrate the display and effective sorting; skilled use of CATIA and other digital software for data sorting and appearance analysis.
⚡ Possess excellent integration ability of cross-departmental synergy, and efficient communication with internal and external teams of styling.
⚡ Proactive, while having excellent learning ability and logical thinking ability; able to the team's technical output and learning guidance.
⚡ Industrial design and related majors are preferred.
