About the role

As Legal Counsel you will be the business partner for either the LEVC Procurement team or Sales & Marketing (2 roles required) as well as provide legal advice and support to the wider business.

⚡ Provide strategic and legal advice on commercial contract negotiations, drafting, and interpretation of current contracts and termination arrangements. Support with related contractual disputes.

⚡ Delivery of pragmatic, clear, legal advice at all levels of the business including directly to project team members and to inform decision making and governance processes.

⚡ Be willing to learn about and support with Company Secretarial and Compliance activities.

⚡ Legal risk analysis based upon a detailed knowledge and understanding of the company’s strategic aims.

Experience to succeed

⚡ Ideally 5 - 9 years PQE

⚡ Commercial contract negotiation, drafting and interpretation experience required.  

⚡ Experience in commercial dispute resolution desirable or willingness to learn. 

⚡ Experience of cross-border transactions and working with teams from different countries desirable.

 ⚡ Experience in private practice necessary.

⚡ Ability to work in a multi-cultural fast-paced environment

⚡ Willingness to support a sizeable, fast-moving business

⚡ Experience with automotive manufacturing or EVs is a bonus 

⚡ Be a qualified English lawyer and member of the Law Society of England and Wales.
