About the role
As a Plant Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that customer expectations are met and all quality activities are adhered to, reporting into the Plant Quality Engineering Manager.
⚡ Responsible for Process Flows, FMEA’s, Control Plans, and SOP’s, Work Instructions
⚡ Conduct product/ process audits, and problem solving around all electrical issues
⚡ PPaP and PSW issue management and instructing and training personnel in techniques and use of audit and testing devices
⚡ Producing timing plans and implementing product quality improvements
⚡ Supplier visits when necessary
⚡ Acts as a liaison to internal and external customers breaking down barriers and ensuring collaborative working
Experience to succeed
⚡ Strong background in quality engineering with vehicle electrical systems and components desired
⚡ Has desired experience with IPC 610 and wire harness manufacture, and routing evaluation on vehicle
⚡ Vehicle diagnostic tools, 6 sigma, Microsoft package, analysing tolerance stack-ups
⚡ Ability to work in a fast-paced NPI environment while project managing workload
⚡ Have a track record of delivering results as a Plant quality engineer, Quality engineer or Supplier technical assurance engineer
⚡ Team player with a can-do attitude
⚡ Experienced supporting a sizeable, fast-moving business
⚡ Experience with automotive manufacturing or EVs is a bonus
